The Financial Services Institutions Bureau (FSIB) is an autonomous body of the Government of India under the Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance. It was constituted on July 1, 2022, to replace the former Banks Board Bureau (BBB), with a broader mandate covering public sector insurance companies in addition to banks and financial institutions.
