The National Safety Council of India (NSCI) is a non-profit, autonomous body established by the Ministry of Labour and Employment on March 4, 1966, to promote a voluntary safety, health, and environmental (SHE) culture. Based in Navi Mumbai, it develops safety guidelines, conducts training, and organizes the annual National Safety Day (March 4) campaign to prevent workplace accidents.
