The National Capital Region Planning Board (NCRPB) is a statutory body established by the Government of India in February 1985 under the National Capital Region Planning Board Act, 1985. It was created to ensure balanced and harmonized development of the National Capital Region (NCR) and to avoid haphazard development around the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi.
